 Board Members 2011-2012
 Jessica Purdy Axelrod  President  Jessica is a 2006 UCSF grad and former MEPN who now works part time at SFGH in the Children's Health Center with a focus on primary care and foster care.
 Robyn Huey  President-Elect  Robyn Huey currently is a Pediatric Surgery NP at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children's Hospital (UCSF), and she recently graduated from the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at the University of San Francisco (USF).  Since her doctoral project of implementing a PNP program in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) / critical care transport team at UCSF was recently funded, she will be transitioning to start the new program in November 2011.   She has had experience as a PICU nurse at UCSF and has taught as a nursing instructor for the past several years at USF and Samuel Merritt University.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing at USF and her Master's degree in Nursing at UCSF in the Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program. She is excited about opportunities for PNPs in the acute care arena and plans to continue to advocate for improved interdisciplinary collaboration and expansion of NP scope of practice.
 Victoria Keeton  Past President  Victoria’s practice interests have been primarily in caring for underserved children in community and school-based health centers, and she has worked in primary care in Los Angeles, New York, and now part-time at the SFGH Children's Health Center. She has also been firmly committed to the education of nurses and currently serves on the clinical faculty at UC San Francisco.
 Courtney Giraudo  Secretary  Courtney is currently practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in the Whitney NICU Follow-up clinic at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She has also worked in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine, as a PNP, at the Children's Hospital of Oakland. Courtney graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University and pursued her graduate degree (MS) at the University of California, San Francisco from 2002-2004. Courtney has been a NAPNAP member for 8 years; first serving on the Chapter Board, as the Student representative, from 2002-2004 and then continued on the Board as the Membership Chair. Her professional areas of interest include Newborn nutrition, pediatric asthma, and post-discharge NICU care.
 Erin Corbett  Treasurer  Erin is a PNP in general surgery at Children's Hospital Oakland. She has previously served on the SF NAPNAP board as student representative and legislative chair.
 Donna Lee  CE Program Co-Chair  Donna is a new graduate from UCSF and was formerly part of the MEPN program. With 4 years of experience as a RN at LPCH in cardiology and organ transplant, and as one of last year's student representatives, she is happy to be a part of planning the chapter's CE events this year.
 Sara McGee  CE Program Co-Chair  Sara graduated in June 2011 from the Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at UCSF. After serving as the student representative on the SF Bay Area NAPNAP board last year, she hopes to serve as CE Program co-chair for the board. Her background is in critical care nursing, in both cardiovascular and general pediatric intensive care settings.
 Erica Tringale  CE Program Co-Chair  Erica is a new graduate from the UCSF APPN program and recently served on the SF NAPNAP board as student representative.
 Beth Chopra  Membership Chair  Beth is a recent graduate of the UCSF APPN program and looks forward to serving on the SF NAPNAP board for the first time in the position of membership chair.
 Antrina Brantley  Community Service Chair  Antrina Brantley graduated from UCSF in 2010 as an Acute Care PNP, and currently works as an NP in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. She has been a member of NAPNAP and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing since 2008. Her passion is in giving back to the community through health-focused events and fairs, as well as mentoring and speaking to high school and college students interested in higher education, especially those with an interest in nursing.

 Zena Harvill  Website Chair  Zena Harvill graduated from UCSF in 2011 and works with Native American Health Center as a PNP, providing care to adolescents in school based health centers in Oakland and Alameda. In her past life, Zena helped publish scientific journals online, an experience that led her to the position of SFNAPNAP web chair.

 Karen Duderstadt  Legislative Co-Chair  Karen G. Duderstadt PhD, RN, CPNP is a Clinical Professor at the UCSF School of Nursing and teaches in the pediatric program. Her clinical practice is at SFGH Children’s Health Center.  From 2002 to 2006, she served as Health Policy Chair for NAPNAP and continues as ex officio member of NAPNAP’s Health Policy Committee.  She was a member of the HEAT Workgroup and a contributing author to the HEAT Clinical Practice Guidelines, and is currently Co Chair of NAPNAP’s Childhood Obesity SIG.
 Camly Slawson  Legislative Co-Chair  Camly graduated from UCSF in 2007 as an APPN in pediatrics and child/adolescent mental health in 2007. She currently works as a NP in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and previously worked as a NP in Pediatric Gastroenterology at UCSF.  She is an experienced international traveler and is looking forward to advocating for child health policy issues and learning more about the state legislative process.  She is joining the SF NAPNAP board for the first time.
 Melanie Perera  Student Representative  Melanie Perera is thrilled to be running as student co-representative for SF NAPNAP. She will be beginning her second year at UCSF in the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner program. She also works as a pediatric nurse at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital.
 Aubrey Swetek  Student Representative  Aubrey Swetek looks forward to joining Melanie as the new student co-representatives for SF NAPNAP. She is a Master's student in the pediatric nurse practitioner specialty at UCSF, and works as a research assistant in UCSF's Dept. of Physiological Nursing.
