New Grad Panel Spring Picnic

Date: May 17th, 2025
Location: Golden Gate Park
Time: 10 am-12 pm

PANEL FOR NP STUDENTS AND NEW GRADS

Picture
Our California NAPNAP Chapters want to invite all 1st year, 2nd year NP students, and recent graduates to a virtual panel with NPs from various backgrounds. We held this for the Bay Area graduating PNP/FNP students last year, and many had the feedback that they would have enjoyed this learning opportunity starting the 1st year of their NP program. While our organization is pediatric-focused, we welcome all NP specialties as we find the information relevant across all the areas.

The focus of the meeting is to review preparing for board exams, applying for positions, preparing for interviews, transitioning to the new role, post-master's education, and discussing various NP specialties.

We will have a wide variety of panelists including clinical professors, NP hiring managers, and NPs who work both in research, acute care, primary care, and specialty care. The panelists have also obtained various post-master's degrees including DNP, PhD, MSL, MPH, RNFA.
The panel will be held on Saturday, May 17th, from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Virtual Game Night & Raffle

Join the SF Bay Area Chapter for a virtual game night and raffle! In lieu of our annual winter fundraising event, we have chosen to host an online event where people can meet to play games and participate in a virtual raffle. This year, we have decided to use all our proceeds to start a grant fund for nurse practitioners who wish to further their professional growth. Participation in the games or raffle are optional; you can choose to just join in on the fun, or just participate in the raffle.
The event will take place on Saturday, January 23, from 7 to 10 pm. The raffle will take place at 8:3pm.

Register for free HERE
After registration, you will receive a confirmation email that provides information on joining the event and where to receive more info on purchasing raffle tickets.
